What is the space rent?

Rent is $555 a month, which is competitive with any mobile home park in the Lakewood, Tacoma or the greater Seattle area. Space rent includes sewer and garbage service.

Can I rent a home?

Each resident in our community owns their own home, making Glen Mar a place where people build equity while enjoying affordable living. We do not rent homes, we rent the spaces they occupy.

Do you take RVs?

No.  We do not offer RV services at this time.

Do you have homes for sale?

We do not have any homes for sale right now.  The Foster Group, Inc., owners of Glen Mar Mobile Estates, can finance your purchase when we do.  Contact us directly for more information.

How do I get to Glen Mar Mobile Estates?

Glen Mar is located about 30 minutes from downtown Seattle. Head south on Interstate 5, take Exit 129 to Lakewood then left on Tacoma Mall Boulevard. Take a right on 84th Street South and head west. From 84th Street, turn right onto 33rd Ave, drive four blocks and you’ve arrived. If you’re coming from the south, take Exit 128, turn left onto South Hosmer Street, then left onto 84th Street South before turning right on 33rd Ave.

Is there any chance your park will close?

No, and we back it up. If you happen purchase a home through The Foster Group you will receive a no-closure guarantee. If we close the park during your lifetime, we will buy your home back at the assessed value, or pay to have it moved and set up in any community in Washington. Your choice. Guaranteed in writing. Of course, it’s easy to make this promise because we’re never going to close Glen Mar.

What size homes can you accommodate?

Glen Mar allows singles and doublewide manufactured homes, but we currently have no vacant lots spaces. We also allow RVs on a long-term basis in our designated RV area.

Do you allow pets?

Pets are allowed under limited conditions. You may have a small dog under 25 pounds, but no larger. This rule is enforced without exception. Cats are welcome. Prrrrr.

If I apply for to live in Glen Mar, do you run a credit check?

Yes. Prospective residents must fill out an application. We look for residents with good credit, but you don’t necessarily have to have perfect credit.  Current application fee is $17.75.
